During the winter months it's always an invigorating and refreshing walk along the beach between Bamburgh and Seahouses with the stunning views across to the Farne Islands and glimpses of Bamburgh and Lindisfarne castles. What a great treat today to spot a couple of dolphins breaking the surface for air as they ambled up the coast passing Bamburgh beach - combined with the clear blue sky, slowly setting sun and rising crescent moon it was quite an experience!
